IACTM Accredited Trauma-Informed Practitioner Criteria:

  • You have undergone at least 150 hours of trauma-informed practitioner training and/or mentorship from a reputable training provider or mentor. The training or mentorship needn’t be exclusively about trauma, but a minimum of 150 hours on trauma-informed theory and application should be included in the training or mentorship.
  • You are a certified facilitator, or coach, or mentor, or therapist, or counsellor or trauma-informed practitioner with a minimum of 50 hours of trauma-related work experience.
  • During the periods in which you see clients for trauma-related work, you undergo trauma-informed supervision or mentorship, or engage regularly in a trauma-informed practice/support community. 
  • You are able to demonstrate competence and professionalism as a trauma-informed practitioner in accordance with IACTM’s Core Competencies.
  • Compliance with the IACTM Policy.

Fees:

  • Annual IACTM Accredited Trauma-Informed Practitioner fee USD 130.- (refundable if you are not approved for accreditation)
  • One-time application and registration fee USD 30.- (non-refundable)
